Triton Sports Wrap – May 14
The Triton baseball team came out on the short end of a 6-4 loss to Glenn Thursday night.
The visiting Falcons scored four runs in the second inning to take control of the Northern State Conference game.
Glenn outhit the Trojans 13-5 in the win. Winning pitcher Drew McDonald had 12 strikeouts and four walks for the Falcons.
Nate Flenar led Triton with two hits, including a double, and two RBI.
Landon Kauffman also had a double for Triton. Skyler Reichert took the pitching loss for the Trojans.
Gage Bennett led Glenn with three hits and three RBI.
Triton will play at Jimtown Friday night in another NSC contest.
