The Whitko baseball team saved its best for last Wednesday night.

The Wildcats plated three runs in their final at-bat to collect a key 3-0 win at Manchester.

Landen Goff delivered a big two-run singles in the final frame to lift the Wildcats to the Three Rivers Conference win.

Goff had two hits and Zach Snep also had two hits, including a double, for Whitko.

Tanner Gaff went the distance on the hill with a five-hitter. Gaff fanned eight and walked four in the win.

Whitko, now 7-6 overall and 1-1 in the TRC, will play a twin bill at Bluffton on Saturday.

Softball Team Drops One

The Whitko softball team lost a 10-5 decision at Manchester.

Tori Silvers took the pitching loss for the Wildcats in the Three Rivers Conference game.

Whitko will play in the Tippecanoe Valley Tournament on Saturday.
