NWS Notes Winds And Frost Expected Tonight, Tomorrow
The National Weather Service has issued a hazardous weather outlook for Kosciusko and surrounding counties.
According to the NWS, west winds of 15 to 25 mph with gusts of 35 to 40 mph are expected late this morning and afternoon. Lows are expected to be in the lower 30s tonight with frost and sub-freezing temperatures possible.
The NWS notes plants and trees already blooming may be susceptible to damage due to frost and freezing temperatures. It is suggested that plans be set in place to protect any vulnerable vegetation.
A possibility of low temperatures at or below freezing is again anticipated by the NWS Thursday night.
