Ruth A. Howard, 56, of Tippecanoe, passed away on Thursday, April 16, 2015, in her home with her family at her side.

Ruth was born March 19, 1959, in Portsmouth, Ohio, to Milton and Arminta (Edmiston) Tackett. She attended the Grace Fellowship Outreach Church in Tippecanoe. She was a homemaker/Mom and really enjoyed her family. She had worked in restaurants both in Bourbon and Tippecanoe. She was an “adventurer”; she loved yard work, being outdoors and hummingbirds.

Ruth leaves behind her family which includes; husband: Joseph Howard, Tippecanoe; father of her children: Donald Kleespie, Columbia City; parents: Arminta (James) McIntosh, Tippecanoe; her three children: Amanda Kleespie, Tippecanoe; son: Isaac (Crystal) Kleespie, Bourbon; son: William (Janet) Kleespie, Tippecanoe; six grandchildren: Isaac, Kennedy, Destiny, De’Ja, Dante’ and Jocelyn; sister: Jackie (Jack) Hackworth, Tippecanoe; brothers: James Tackett, S.C.; Johnny (Ruby) Tackett, Tippecanoe; Jerry (Jane) Tackett; and Mike Tackett Middlebury.

Proceeding in death was her father: Milton; and brother: Lonnie Tackett.

In honoring Ruth’s wishes, there will not be any services at this time.
