Cox, TraciTraci A. Streby Cox, 51, passed away of triple negative breast cancer on Feb. 4, 2015 at her home in Richmond, Texas and now rests in eternal peace with her Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. Traci was born April 23, 1963 in Warsaw to Ronald and Carolyn Streby of Goshen, who survive.

She attended Wawasee High School. On Nov. 23, 1983 she married the love of her life, M. David Cox, and they raised three children together. As an accountant, Mrs. Cox worked for family owned Penguin Point Franchise Systems, had her own business in tax preparation, and most recently was employed by Sysco Foods, first in Ocoee, Fla. and later as a corporate financial analyst in Houston, Texas.

During her illness, Traci was guided by her strong faith and was always the epitome of resilience and inspiration. Her strong will and unending support of her family and close friends. In addition to her parents, surviving Mrs. Cox are her husband, M. David Cox, of the home, son Drew Cox and fiancé Rebecca Yeager, Wake Forest, N.C., daughter Alyssa (Justin) All, Rosenberg, Texas, and daughter Whitley Cox, Panama City Beach, Fla.

Traci was delighted to be Grammy to Alyssa and Justin’s three daughters, Lyla, Makayla, and Haylee. Also surviving are brothers Lee Streby, South Bend, and Jeff (Brandi) Streby,  Syracuse, as well as many nieces, nephews, and cousins.

Services will be held Saturday, Feb. 7 at McHatton Sadler Funeral home, 2290 Provident Court, Warsaw. The viewing will be held at 11 a.m. and the Funeral service will begin at 1 p.m. In lieu of flowers tribute donations are to be given to the Triple Negative Breast Cancer Foundation at tnbcfoundation.org or P.O.
