Jason Arnett, 23, North Webster, has been arrested and booked in the Kosciusko County Jail on a charge of sexual misconduct with a minor.

Syracuse Police Chief Tony Ciriello reports his department received information of a sexual relationship between Arnett and a 15-year-old minor. After evaluating the information, an investigation began by the department along with the Kosciusko County Prosecutor’s Office.

During the investigation it was determined Arnett had been involved in a relationship with the minor. The investigation showed this had occurred more than once during October.

Arnett is being held on $6,000 surety bond.

The charge is merely an allegation of the crime and all suspects are presumed innocent until proven guilty in court.
