Center Lake and Pike Lake beaches in Warsaw will open for the season beginning Saturday. This weekend is also Memorial Day weekend which marks the official start of the summer season.

Lifeguards hours for the Warsaw beaches will be from 10:30 a.m. to 6 p.m. weekdays and from 11:30 a.m. to 6:30 p.m. weekends, weather permitting. Center Lake Beach will have lifeguards daily beginning this Saturday. Pike Lake Beach will have lifeguards on weekends only until June 6, and then daily thereafter.

American Red Cross certified Water Safety Instructors will also be offering two free sessions of swim lessons this summer running June 16-27 and July 14-25, with multiple class times during each session. Swim lessons are open to all ages, including adults. Pre-registration is required, even though the program is free.
