Officers of the Kosciusko County Sheriff’s Department recently investigated the following incidents:

  • Saturday, April 26, 8:37 p.m. Theft reported at the 5700 block of Woodland Lane in Warsaw. A 15-foot red canoe was taken.
  • Friday, April 25, 9:26 a.m. Hit and run reported at 2400 block of 800 West near U.S. 30 in Warsaw. Driver ran a stop sign and struck Melissa Warren, 45, Fort Wayne.
  • Friday, April 25, 2:10 a.m. Criminal mischief reported at 3100 block of Wooster Road in Pierceton.

Syracuse Police Department

Officers of the Syracuse Police Department recently investigated the following incident:

  • Saturday, April 26, 3:26 a.m. Domestic battery reported at the 300 block of Lynwood Drive in Syracuse.

Warsaw Police Department

Officers of the Warsaw Police Department recently investigated the following incidents:

  • Saturday, April 26, 10:37 p.m. Domestic battery in the presence of a child reported at the 1600 block of Main Streent in Warsaw.
  • Saturday, April 26, 1:22 p.m. EMS responded to a report of a drug overdose at 700 block of Eagle Street in Warsaw.
  • Saturday, April 26, 1:18 p.m. Criminal mischief, disorderly conduct and property damage reported at the Bowen Center on Provident Drive in Warsaw. Jeffrey Thomas, 30, of Nappanee was arrested for the incident.
  • Saturday, April 26, 2:06 a.m. Vehicle towed from 100 block of Canal Street for fictitious registration.
  • Friday, April 25, 11:47 a.m. Theft reported at Frensenius Medical Care, 3300 block of Lake City Highway.

Winona Lake Police Department

Officers of the Winona Lake Police Department recently investigated the following incident:

  • Friday, April 25, 3:33 p.m. Hit and run reported at 2200 block of Westwood Road in Winona Lake.
