Volunteers Supporting Nisly In Campaign
Dear Editor,
On behalf of the Curt Nisly for State Representative campaign (District 22), I thank our wonderful group of volunteers. Having moved here from Wisconsin, I’ve come to enjoy this community and the strong desire people have to be engaged in the political process.
Recently we had over 100 volunteers participate in a Saturday literature drop. Our volunteers have personally addressed and written notes to thousands of people. As we have approached the primary, we see more people joining our movement, and the enthusiasm of new volunteers is inspiring. As Committee Chairperson, I’m watching volunteers initiate and implement their own ideas for communicating Curt’s message. My job has been easy.
As a campaign, we are also very pleased with the endorsements of: Elkhart County Sheriff Brad Rogers, Gun Owners of America Political Victory Fund and Indiana Family Action Political Action Committee.
We have been running a campaign focused on issues that distinguish Curt Nisly from his opponent. We are pleased to have a candidate who thinks Hoosiers should be able to decide if their constitution should be changed with an amendment to protect traditional marriage. Curt opposes Common Core for U.S. Constitutional reasons and because he believes education is best accomplished with local accountability. Curt supports a smaller state government so the Indiana private sector can grow. Less Indiana regulation and and lower Indiana taxes encourages businesses to move to Indiana and help our existing businesses grow. A growing private sector job market is good for Hoosiers. Curt likes to say that Hoosiers are hard working, creative and competitive…”that’s why we’re called the ‘Hoosier State,’ not the ‘Nanny State.'”
It has been a pleasure to serve as Campaign Committee Chairperson. We have a great candidate in Curt, and we have a great district. I greatly appreciate the spirit of all involved in community politics.
Please vote for Curt Nisly on Tuesday, May 6.
