Drug Task Force officers from Warsaw Police and the Kosciusko County Sheriff’s Department spent several hours Wednesday night at the Etna Green Mobile Home Park where they located an active methamphetamine lab.
Earlier in the evening, Warsaw Police received a tip that Joshua Stacy, 28, was purchasing meth-making products from several local stores.
When DTF officers located Stacy at his residence in the mobile home park, they found the active methamphetamine lab outside a shed on the property along with chemicals, precursors and additional finished methamphetamine product.
Stacy was charged with Class B felony dealing/delivering/ manufacturing methamphetamine and Class D felony possession of chemical reagents or precursors with intent to manufacture. He was booked into the Kosciusko County Jail without bond. Police say also Stacy may face additional drug charges.
The clandestine lab team was on scene for several hours cleaning the lab. Warsaw Police were assisted by Indiana State Police, Kosciusko County Sheriff’s Department, Winona Lake Police Department and the Kosciusko County Prosecuting Attorney’s Office.
Warsaw Police continue to diligently work to reduce the influence of meth in our community by being aggressive toward the use, manufacture and possession. Warsaw drug tips can be called into the Warsaw Police Department at 574-372-9540
