Little Bighorn Hosting Benefit For Salazar

PIERCETON – Little Bighorn Golf Course will host a benefit golf scramble to help a local baseball player realize a dream.

Kameron Salazar of Syracuse is one of 12 players from Indiana selected to represent the 10-U All-State Team at the 2013 Play The Turf All-State games in Jacksonville, Ill. The games, which will take place August 8-11, have teams from Oklahoma to Ohio involved and is sponsored by Greater Midwest Baseball and Lenz Field, site of the tournament.

The four-person scramble is $50 per player ($200 per team) starts at 9 a.m. Sunday, August 4, which includes a meal. Cash prizes will be awarded to first and second place as well as prizes for closest to the pin on holes seven and 15 as well as closest to the pin second shot on hole 11 and longest drive on hole 14. Mulligans are available for $5 apiece (two per person or nine holes max) and skins are available for $20 per team.
