LEESBURG – Our second stop on the tour of the area ball diamonds came Monday night in Leesburg, spotlighting several games as part of the Leesburg Summer Recreation League.

On Jeremy Field were 9-12 matchups between the slugging Dodgers and feisty Red Sox and then the defensive-minded Yankees took on the fun-loving Orioles. Inhabiting Center Field was a riveting T-Ball matchup between the pesky Tigers and slugging Indians. Finally, on Ferguson Field, the slick fielding Storm hosted the upstart Timber Rattlers in a Coach Pitch showdown. Photos and video by Mike Deak.
