I just have a question for landlords about rent. How do you, as a landlord, determine how much you will charge for rent?

Rent in the Warsaw area is outrageous. I can’t afford a down payment to buy my own home, so I am forced to rent. Right now it takes two paychecks to pay one month’s rent. Therefore I am unable to save any money to put toward a down payment.

I feel like I am making the landlord’s mortgage payment for this house. I wish I had the money to buy my own home. I’m sure my mortgage payments would be a lot smaller than what we are paying in rent.
