An alleged drunk driver is being blamed for a single-vehicle crash in Whitley County that left a Columbia City man with a broken neck.

Michael Grim, 47, was a passenger in a car that crashed early Saturday morning on Willow Avenue. The car, driven by Susan Janes, 45, also of Columbia City, reportedly left the road and crashed into a parked car.

Indiana State Police investigated the crash, which sent Grim to the hospital with a broken neck. Janes, who was not injured, was arrested for operating while intoxicated.
