Eberly Named 2012 Fair Queen

Kaytlyn Eberly was crowned the 2012 Miss Kosciusko County Fair Queen during the annual Miss Kosciusko County Fair Queen Scholarship Pageant, held Saturday night in Pierceton.

Eberly, 19, of North Manchester, is the daughter of Scott and Darla Eberly. She is a sophomore in the honors program at University of Indianapolis studying physical therapy. During the pageant, Eberly’s 10-year 4-H career was highlighted. It was noted she is also student body and National Honor Society vice president and received the University of Indianapolis Honors College Biology Club – Hard Worker Award. She is a member of the University of Indianapolis Dance Team, honors college committee, and “Future Scientist” Teacher. She is also an active member of her church.

Also crowned during the pageant was Gayle Peters, first runner up; Danielle Boggs, second runner up; Makayli Phillips, third runner up; and Shana Messmore, non-finalist interview winner.
