LAKE MARY, FLA. — A Sanford teenager has claimed a $2 million prize from Wednesday’s Powerball drawing. Officials said Frederick Walker, 19, had never purchased a lottery ticket before now.

INDIANAPOLIS — The winning numbers have been drawn for the largest lottery jackpot in the world.
The drawing for the $1.5 billion Powerball prize was held just before 11 p.m. Wednesday.

WEST LAFAYETTE — While no tickets matching all five numbers and the Powerball were sold in Indiana, Hoosier Lottery officials announced 18 tickets were sold that matched at least four of the numbers.
