WHITESTOWN — A dog left to die in a Whitestown dumpster now has a forever home – thanks to the Whitestown Police officer who saved him.

Brent Dwaine Mendenhall, 55, Whitestown, formerly of Wabash, died at 5:35 a.m., Monday, April 20, 2015, at Arrow Container Corporation in Indianapolis.
