WARSAW — It was after 9:30 p.m. Monday evening, Nov. 21, before Warsaw Common Council members reached the third and fourth items on its agenda. The final two agenda items finalized the funding for not-for-profit organizations and transferred funds. A 2 1/2 hour discussion had been held on the issuance of bonds for a third fire station.

WARSAW — Proposed 2017 budgets from 10 not-for-profits were heard by Warsaw Common Council members Monday evening, Aug. 1. The meeting, due to the budget requests, began one hour earlier than normal.

WARSAW — Warsaw Community Development Corporation announced Bill and Christy Cuban as one of the recipients of a 2015 Façade Grant in downtown Warsaw on Nov. 17. The Cubans are the owners of 206 S. Buffalo St., that which the Jerky Shop leases. Improvements included an entirely new painted façade.
