The Sewing Guild of Warsaw recently made and presented 110 handmade Christmas stockings to the Warsaw American Legion Auxiliary unit 49. These holiday reminders from home will be filled by the Auxiliary members with personal care products and treats to be sent to soldiers overseas.

Evelyn Marsh, who joined the American Legion Auxiliary when she was 11 years old, was recently presented with a 75 year continuous service pin and plaque of recognition by Warsaw American Legion Auxiliary unit 49.

The Warsaw American Legion Auxiliary unit 49 and the Sons of the Legion post 49 are trying to raise $1000 for veterans programs. The Warsaw American Legion Post #49, the Warsaw American Legion Auxiliary Unit 49 and the Warsaw Sons of the American Legion recently donated an American flag to Golden Corral of Warsaw, in honor of the restaurant’s donations throughout the years.
