BOURBON — Fourth grade classes at Triton Elementary School went bowling during their physical education class this week.

Triton kindergarten students took a step towards making their future dreams come true with their visit to Ancilla College Monday, Oct. 12. This “Walk Into My future” is a part of the “Indiana Promise” program that encourages students to start saving early for their post high school training/learning needs.

BOURBON — Project Tomorrow, the national education nonprofit group, announced the selection of both schools from Triton School Corporation as Speak Up Loud and Clear schools. Formerly known as Speak Up 200, Speak Up Loud and Clear is a collection of the top K-12 schools in the country that encourage and involve authentic student, parent and teacher ideas and views in the education planning and decision-making.

Throughout the month of October, Triton School Corporation is collecting donations from the community to fund a dedication plaque in memory of Kenny Klotz and his 23 plus years of service to the Triton School Community. Kenny passed away after a day at work on November 7, 2014.
