Triton Jr.-Sr. High School sponsors a reading club through generous donations from Teachers Credit Union. Students sign-up to be a part of this club and at the end of each grading period, names of participants are drawn and the winners are presented with special prizes like gift cards, t-shirts, even e-readers like the Nook.

Triton Jr.-Sr. High School Introduction to 2-D art students are pictured working on their Chuck Close inspired self portrait drawings. Students studied the work of artist Chuck Close then the students used his grid transfer method to create their own portraits. The portraits will be displayed in the high school hallway when finished.

Yesterday, the Indiana Department of Education released graduation rate data for the 2012-2013 school year. Locally, graduation rates did not fare so well.
