NORTH WEBSTER—American Legion Post 253 led the Memorial Day Parade in North Webster Monday morning, May 29. The North Webster Cub Scouts and Boys Scouts followed into North Webster Cemetery along with the Wawasee Middle School band.
The Kosciusko County Historical Society’s 49th annual banquet on Thursday evening remembered the early days of The Soapbox Derby. Held in the Center Lake Pavilion, photographs, trophies, two derby cars, helmets, uniforms and other memorabilia were displayed around the room.
