WARSAW — Plenty of activity is occurring in an old molasses factory by the railroad tracks in Syracuse. According to Dan Richard, area planning director, “a number of uses are already there.”

Two cases were heard at the regular meeting of Syracuse Board of Zoning Appeals Thursday. One was approved and one denied. Swiss Perfection’s petition for a variance to allow 600 square feet of signage, where 200 square feet is allowed by ordinance, was approved. The property is located at 100 S.
