The cause of a fire that occurred Sunday afternoon, July 26, is still under investigation, according to the Plain Township Fire Captain.

At approximately 3:15 p.m. Sunday, July 26, Lutheran EMS and Plain Township Fire Department responded to report of a possible structure fire at 4125 North Runkle Drive in Warsaw.

Emergency personnel responded to a reported shed fire located at 208 East Catholic St., Pierceton. According to Reporter Jarrett Van Meter, the fire began as a result of a minor smoking inside the shed. No animals or individuals were reportedly harmed as a result of the fire.
