Protestors A No Show

NORTH WEBSTER — A social media post stating there would be a protest in front of Tippecanoe Township Trustee Steve Ward’s business at 10 a.m. this morning, Aug. 29, did not come to fruition. The business is located on SR 13, downtown North Webster.

NORTH WEBSTER — Word has been received North Webster Fire Chief Jeremy Likens has resigned. While Likens has not confirmed the action, his turnout gear was seen this morning among other firefighters who have left the department.

NORTH WEBSTER — As of 3 p.m. today close to one-half of the 48 North Webster/Tippecanoe Township Fire and EMS personnel had walked out. This includes volunteer, part-time and full-time employees.
