WARSAW — A Pierceton woman was arrested after stealing a cellular device left behind at her place of work. WARSAW — A misdemeanor theft charge against an Indianapolis man was enhanced to a level 6 felony after it was learned he had been convicted on conversion in 2015. He also faces three other charges including two charges of battery by bodily waste, both level six felonies, and disorderly conduct, a class B misdemeanor.

Warsaw Fire crews were called to Steak ‘n Shake at about 9:24 p.m. where a fire was reported in the kitchen area. The fire was quickly extinguished by the restaurant’s ansul system, which activates when a fire is detected. The restaurant was evacuated and everyone escaped without injury.
