WASHINGTON, D.C. — In the wake of recent abuses by the Department of Veterans Affairs (VA) in overprescribing medication to veterans, Rep. Jackie Walorski, a member of the House Veterans Affairs’ Committee, introduced legislation requiring all Veteran Administration Medical Centers in Indiana and across the nation to participate in their respective state’s drug monitoring program.
