SYRACUSE — A trio of underclassmen is keeping an impressive string alive for Wawasee High School. Josh Webber (junior), Anthon Anker (sophomore) and Jake Cowan (sophomore) make up the social studies team for Academic Super Bowl and qualified for the state competition.

The first Academic Super Bowl invitational of the 2015 season was held Monday at Warsaw Community High School. Wawasee High School had two teams — social studies and interdisciplinary — place second.
