WASHINGTON D.C. — For the first time in 32 years, the Smithsonian’s National Zoo’s American Trail team celebrated the arrival of a sea lion pup, born June 26 to 11-year-old mother Calli.

Smithsonian.com has named Nashville, Indiana, as one of the 20 best small towns in America. A carriage that belonged to President Abraham Lincoln will begin its journey from South Bend’s Studebaker National Museum to Washington, D.C., today.
