On Saturday, July 25— initially reserved for the 2020 Dixie Day Festival, which was scuttled by the pandemic —the North Webster Lions Club treated attendees to a much welcomed, albeit scaled down, day of family-friendly activities at the Mermaid Festival fairgrounds.

NORTH WEBSTER — Involvement in the Wawasee High School super mileage team began for Scott Fox in 2012, when his oldest son got involved. In the super mileage team, students build cars or improve on them in order to get the best miles per gallon in the Shell Eco-marathon.

WARSAW — Kiwanis Club of Warsaw inducted the new officer team for the 2018-19 Kiwanis year. Past President Scott Fox handed the gavel to incoming President Joni Truex.
