BOURBON – Fort Wayne Blackhawk knocked Triton out of the Class 1-A state volleyball regional for the second straight year with a 3-0 win at Triton Tuesday night.

CULVER – Triton survived a wild semi-final against South Central (Union Mills) to later claim its second volleyball sectional title in as many years as rulers of the Class 1-A Culver Volleyball Sectional Saturday afternoon.

CULVER – Triton advanced to the Culver Volleyball Sectional semi-finals with a 3-0 win over Oregon-Davis Tuesday night.

AKRON – Tippecanoe Valley won a slugfest Thursday, topping Triton 3-1 in a superb volleyball matchup.

CULVER – Triton’s volleyball team, which hadn’t won a game on the road all season, finally got over the hump and then some in a 3-0 sweep at Culver Thursday night.
