WARSAW — Brooks Stogsdill, Warsaw, is the new advertising representative for ‘the PAPER’ Kosciusko County edition, The Mail-Journal and Inkfree News.

MILFORD — As McBride was chipping layers of plaster from the south interior wall of the building, she started seeing letters painted on the original layer of bricks that composed the bulwark. She excitedly continued chipping away at the plaster until more of the lettering could be deciphered. Eventually, the entirety of the painted sign revealed itself to read “Milford Mail Fine Job Printing.”

The Mail-Journal and its sister publication, the online daily InkFreeNews, were well represented at the 48th annual Hoosier State Press Foundation Newsroom Seminar Saturday. A fire in downtown South Bend is being blamed on mail delivery interruptions locally. According to WSBT-TV, an underground vault caught fire around midnight last night. The Syracuse Park Foundation approved a contract for the Syracuse-Wawasee Trail Committee to hire Marsha Carey as a grant writer. Carey’s contract is for 12 months for $20,000.
