At a recent award ceremony at Sacred Heart School, Abby Steffensmeier and Chase Zawadzki were awarded the Michael Grant O’Connell Memorial Award. As a culminating activity for the Sacred Heart fifth graders for their biography studies and state reports, students chose a famous person from their particular state to research. The Knights of Columbus Assembly of Warsaw donated $1,000 to Sacred Heart School for their Tuition Assistance Fund and STREAM Program. The school’s STREAM (Science, Technology, Religion, Engineering, the Arts and Math) Program is starting a robotics program this fall.

Sacred Heart School’s Kindergarten Prep 4 class went on a field trip to The Bowling Alley on Detroit Street this week. They learned about the sport and the parts of the bowling alley. They also were shown the correct way to hold and throw a bowling ball.
