SYRACUSE — A little less than four months from now, the 2016-17 school year will end and students will no longer occupy Syracuse Elementary School full-time, though summer school will still be held in the building. A new Syracuse Elementary is scheduled to be moved into July 5.

After being asked to leave the Syracuse Community Center in September, Rock Solid Teen Center has found a new home. SYRACUSE — Syracuse Park Department recently notified Rock Solid it was severing its relationship after five years. Pastor Mark Eastway, Rock Solid Teen Center board president, said the Rock Solid Board was informed of the decision Sept. 8 via email and the final day Rock Solid met at the Syracuse Community Center was Thursday, Sept. 10.
