SYRACUSE — Wawasee High School’s football field will have a significantly different look by August. During the regular monthly meeting of the Wawasee school board Tuesday evening, April 18, in Syracuse, the board approved entering a contract with Cincinnati-based The Motz Group for a new artificial turf field to be installed at the high school this summer.

SYRACUSE — Mostly Smart boards and a few other items can be found now in what will be the classrooms of the new Syracuse Elementary School. But only a few months from now, students and teachers will fill those classrooms.

SYRACUSE — During the regular monthly meeting of the Wawasee school board Tuesday evening, Jan. 12, in Syracuse the board was given a brief update on the status of the construction of the new Syracuse Elementary School on Kern Road. The update was given by Bob Lahrman, director of support services for the school corporation.
