INDIANAPOLIS—Kent Abernathy, Commissioner of the Indiana Bureau of Motor Vehicles, announced that all BMV license branches will be closed Saturday, Sept. 5 through Monday, Sept. 7 in observance of the Labor Day holiday.

The U.S. Geological Survey has confirmed that a 3.3 magnitude earthquake shook southern Michigan this morning at 11:43 a.m. The epicenter has been determined to be about seven miles northeast of Union City and 14 miles south/southeast of Battle Creek.
