ELKHART — WNIT Public Television is now accepting volunteer videographers from the Syracuse area, through July 7, to help bring to life the unique story of the rich and vibrant town of Syracuse for the upcoming documentary, “Our Town: Syracuse,” premiering Monday, Aug. 21.

An Indiana entrepreneur and television icon has passed away. Mike Fry, known as “Happy the Hobo,” hosted a children’s show on WFFT on Fort Wayne, from 1982 to 1990.
