DEERFIELD, Ill. — Walgreens announced on Feb. 9 the launch of a comprehensive new effort to combat drug abuse, introducing two programs that address key contributors to the crisis.

INDIANAPOLIS – The Indiana Prescription Drug Abuse Prevention Task Force, co-chaired by Attorney General Greg Zoeller, and the Indianapolis Colts are urging Hoosier teens to rally against prescription drug abuse by participating in the second-annual Pledge Challenge.

Kosciusko County taxpayers saved more than $2,500 in June through the National Association of Counties Prescription Discount Card Program. Residents used the discount drug card to fill more than 200 prescriptions. Kosciusko County residents saved an average of $10.93 per prescription in June.
