CELORON, N.Y. — A less frightening likeness of comedic actress Lucille Ball is headed to her hometown of Celoron, New York, to replace the life-size bronze statue popularly known as “Scary Lucy.”
The Indianapolis International Airport unveiled a new statue honoring local aviation pioneer Colonel Harvey Weir Cook April 2. Col. Cook founded Indiana’s first principal airport in 1931, which would later become IND. He was considered a pioneer in commercial and military aviation.
