SYRACUSE—After discussing how to make an impact through a community-based school project, seven Milford Middle School girls began Give Hope. Give Hope’s goal was to bring Jen Bricker, an acrobat, aerialist and motivational speaker born without legs, to speak to the community. That dream has since become a reality.

SYRACUSE — Indiana Department of Education released spring 2016 ISTEP+ results Thursday, Nov. 17. It was the second year of a new state assessment for grades three to eight based on Indiana’s more rigorous college and career ready standards. A new baseline was established for ISTEP+ in spring 2015.

Residents of Milford lined the streets of town Monday morning to witness the annual Memorial Day parade.
