WARSAW — Following the approval of issuing bonds for Station 3 of the Warsaw-Wayne Township Fire Territory, the night before, a step toward manning that station was taken by the WWTF Protection Territory board Tuesday afternoon, Dec. 6.
SYRACUSE — There will be no changes in the makeup of the Wawasee school board. Incumbents Mike Wilson (District 1) and Don Bokhart (District 2) retained the two at-large seats on the board after Tuesday’s election.

WARSAW — Miles Waters officially became a firefighter with the Warsaw-Wayne Fire Territory Friday morning, Sept. 16. Waters, who completed his probationary period, was sworn in as a full time firefighter during the Warsaw Board of Works meeting.

SYRACUSE — During the regular monthly meeting of the Wawasee school board Tuesday evening, Jan. 12, in Syracuse the board was given a brief update on the status of the construction of the new Syracuse Elementary School on Kern Road. The update was given by Bob Lahrman, director of support services for the school corporation.
