WARSAW — With her team trailing by a goal in the final seconds of Thursday’s NLC title match with visiting Northridge, Warsaw’s Abby Steffensmeier finished off an equalizer that gave both teams a share of the conference title.

SYRACUSE — Paced by Braedyn O’Dell’s repeat low-medalist round, Northridge earned the repeat team title at the Wawasee Invite, while the Warriors were second Saturday.

ELKHART — Northridge piled on five runs in the seventh, and Warsaw closed with a 10-6 loss to the Raiders Saturday.

WARSAW — Warsaw’s boys track and field team topped an NLC three-way, while Wawasee took losses to both the Tigers and Northridge Thursday.

MIDDLEBURY — NorthWood’s girls basketball team beat both Merrillville and Northridge to win the Bankers Classic Tournament Saturday.

SYRACUSE — Northridge’s 32-27 win over host Wawasee gave the Raiders bragging rights with a perfect 5-0 finish on the day, and the Warriors had to settle for second-best behind their rivals at their December Duals Saturday.
