MIDDLEBURY — NorthWood’s girls basketball team beat both Merrillville and Northridge to win the Bankers Classic Tournament Saturday.

SYRACUSE — Northridge’s 32-27 win over host Wawasee gave the Raiders bragging rights with a perfect 5-0 finish on the day, and the Warriors had to settle for second-best behind their rivals at their December Duals Saturday.

NAPPANEE — NorthWood quarterback Bronson Yoder piled up 406 all-purpose yards and scored five touchdowns as the Panthers stayed unbeaten with a 63-30 win over Northridge.
