A Tennessee man was arrested Wednesday after swindling an elderly Mentone woman out of almost $20,000 over the past year. Brian Eric Schendel, 37, of Oak Ridge, Tenn., was preliminarily charged with felony exploitation of an endangered adult over the age of 60 years.
