NOBLE COUNTY — Dakota B. Fisher, 31, North Webster, was struck and killed by an SUV Friday, Feb. 21, as he was walking along a road in Noble County. Karl L. Gorsuch, 88, Kimmell, passed away peacefully at 12:15 a.m. Sunday, Sept. 24, 2017, at Miller’s Merry Manor in Syracuse. He was born on Sept. 8, 1929, the son of Dale and Almeda (Reeve) Gorsuch in Kimmell, at home. On Sept. 15, 1948, he married Mary Jane Robinson; she survives. Also surviving are four …read more.

KIMMELL — An eight year old Wolcottville boy’s life was saved this past Saturday afternoon during a baseball game because of the quick actions of his coach, who was an off-duty Rome City Deputy Marshal, an off-duty Indiana State Trooper and a nurse who was watching the game from the stands.
