WARSAW — For the past month, Mission Point Community Church has been running a generosity campaign called “LoveBlitz.” The goal has been to serve the community in tangible ways and raise money to support local charities while letting the people of Kosciusko County know that the church cares for them, and ultimately that God cares for them. As Lead Pastor Kondo Simfukwe pointed out, “Too often the church is known for what it is against. We want to be known by what we are for.”

WARSAW — Get fit and have fun all at the same time with Zumba. Zumba is a Latin-inspired fitness
program that works with fun dance and hip-hop elements. The class if fun and easy to follow, with great instruction. The Warsaw Parks and Recreation department will offer two program class sessions this fall.
JEFFERSONVILLE — Drummer Bill Nathan, an international drummer is coming to our area. He will share his drumming talents and also share how he went from an orphan by the age of six, to child slave for some years, was rescued and then placed in an orphanage where he was able to use his “five-gallon white bucket skills” and is now a director of that orphanage along with 2 others.
