SYRACUSE — An email received by Leeann Estrada one day while at school was more than just another email. She would soon find out the financial burden of attending college was lifted and, more importantly, she could take steps toward fulfilling her dreams and goals.

ERIE, PA. — For the second time in three years, a horticulture judging team from the Wawasee High School FFA has won the national contest.

SYRACUSE — For the last six years, Wawasee FFA horticulture judging teams have fared well. A Wawasee team won the national horticulture judging contest two years ago and a couple of years prior to that another team competed in the national contest.

SYRACUSE — Wawasee High School participated in the District II FFA Leadership Contest Wednesday, March 16, at Argos High School. More than 200 FFA members participated in events such as public speaking, quiz bowl, demonstrations and interviews.
