Teen Waived To Adult Court

WARSAW — An 18-year-old Warsaw teen, who was 17 years old when charges were initially filed, was waived to adult court Tuesday, Feb. 16, on multiple charges. WARSAW — A 14-year-old male, found to be a juvenile delinquent in Kosciusko Juvenile Court, received an undisclosed term on probation Thursday morning. The juvenile was charged with four counts of child molesting.

Authorities are saying two boys are responsible for a fire that seriously damaged a Waterloo playground March 29. The Waterloo Fire Department was called to Francis Thomson Memorial Park around 5 p.m. Sunday, near downtown Waterloo. It took approximately an hour to get the fire under control due to high winds. Antonio Ortiz, age 14, of Milford, will remain at Pierceton Woods Juvenile Detention Center until his dispositional hearing at 8:30 a.m. Wednesday, Sept. 19, in Kosciusko County Juvenile Court.
