Wawasee High School will be celebrating the annual homecoming week a bit earlier this year. Normally in October, instead it will be the week of Sept. 21-25.

Pierceton Elementary recently held its 16th annual talent show under the direction of Julie Underhill who took it over when founder, Carolyn Nye retired from teaching. Winners of the Kosciusko County Community Fair junior talent show were crowed Monday night at the fair.Winners were: MaKenna Sausaman, vocal solo female winner; Kiersten Gagnon, dance solo winner; Gayle Peters, first runner-up; and Danielle Boggs, second runner-up. Sausaman and Gagnon will go on to compete at the Indiana State Fair later this summer.
