Although the board filled the entire garage bay of Turkey Creek Regional Sewer District with chairs, only two public members were present for its monthly meeting Monday, July 20. There is still no official word on whether the district will move forward with sewering parts of Wawasee, but the board did provide updates on some of the moving pieces required to finalize plans.
CROMWELL — The board members of Turkey Creek Regional Sewer District met for their regular monthly meeting Monday night, Sept. 21. The meeting tied up many loose ends, including the rate increase, and provided the public an opportunity to speak, although no public members attended.
According to John Julien of Umbaugh and Associates, “Cash is king,” and cash is what the town of Milford is lacking when it comes to proper maintenance of its water utilities.
Julien and Ross Hagen, also from Umbaugh, were on hand at the Milford Town Council meeting Monday evening, July 13, to present the water rate study the town commissioned in the spring of 2015.
Monday night’s Milford Town Council meeting heard analysis from John Julien of Umbaugh and Associates on the financial condition of utilities and recommendations on how to proceed.
